Information we receive
When you sign in through ChatGPT, MusicTree may receive identity information provided by the hosting platform, such as your name, email address, or account identifier.
We may store membership status and subscription identifiers, the version and time of your checkout policy acceptance, music projects and other content you submit, security and troubleshooting records, messages you send through the private support form, and an email address you voluntarily submit to the MusicTree updates list.
Optional promotional email
MusicTree sends promotional or product-update email only after the separate email-list form is submitted with its consent checkbox selected and secure ChatGPT sign-in verifies the email address. Joining the email list is optional, is separate from paid membership, and does not require payment.
Every promotional campaign will include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed addresses remain excluded unless the same verified account gives new consent. MusicTree does not sell the email list.
Payments
Payments are processed by PayPal. MusicTree does not directly collect or store complete payment-card numbers, PayPal passwords, or banking credentials. PayPal's privacy policy and terms apply to payment processing.
Passwords and identity documents
MusicTree does not store your ChatGPT or PayPal password. We do not request or store passports or other government identity documents.
How information is used
We use information to provide account access, verify membership, save your projects, generate requested creative material, process support requests, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
We rely on ChatGPT/OpenAI for sign-in context, PayPal for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, security, and database services, and Google Gemini for optional professional AI generation. When professional AI generation is used, the song concept and selected creative settings are sent to Google to produce the requested result. Under Google's free API tier, submitted content may be used by Google to improve its products, so do not submit confidential or highly sensitive material through professional AI generation. These providers process information under their own policies.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain required records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information through the private support form. Some records may be retained when necessary for security, payment records, dispute resolution, or applicable law.
Children and changes
The service is not intended for children under 13. This policy may be updated when the service or its practices change; the revised version will show a new effective date.
