Start with musical intent
Define the song's emotion, energy, audience, genre, tempo range, and vocal setup before choosing production details.
Describe sound, not imitation
Use concrete qualities such as intimate vocal delivery, organic percussion, warm bass, clean separation, or an early hook instead of requesting a living artist's identity.
Control the arrangement
Specify the opening, verse density, chorus timing, instrumental roles, transitions, ending, and anything the generation should avoid.
Keep two prompt lengths
Use a detailed prompt when the tool allows it and a concise version when character limits are tight. Both should preserve the same creative direction.
